Information about the Rebel Bass Club
Thanks for your inquiry about the Rebel bass club. Hopefully the following will answer questions about the
club and you will want to come to the next meeting.
Information on joining the club:
To become a member, you will need to attend a club event (Meeting or Tournament), read and agree to
the club By-Laws and Tournament rules, voted in by the members and pay your dues. (See Constitution
for more information)
Membership Dues:
Dues are $30.00 a year. For the new members that join later in the year the dues are pro-rated.
To be a member of the Rebel Bass club you do not need a boat!! We have a lot of members that have boats and you should be able to find someone to fish with. Also you can bring a guest if you wish and fish with them.
We fish twelve tournaments a year; five to six are two day tournaments. You may fish by yourself, with someone from the club, or you can bring a guest.
Club Standings:
Club standings are determined on a point's basis. You get 10 points for each club meeting you attend, 10 points for attending a tournament, and points on how you place in each tournament you fish.
Other Information:
The Rebel Bass Club is a member of the San Antonio Metropolitan League of Bass Clubs (METRO).
There are 16 bass clubs that are members of METRO. METRO is our voice on issues that concern fishing.
Also METRO has one tournament a year, which is a lot of fun, to each which club is the top club for that year.
