CHOKE CANYON

It was hot, hot, hot!!  But it did not stop Rebel from fishing.  Didn't say catching, just fishing.

Jason had to tell his dad how he cut the riprap at Calliham boat ramp too close and severed one of the blades on his dad's stainless steel prop. Don't know the extent of the damage to the lower unit, but I am willing to bet it is not good.

Also heard that someone by the name of John B. dropped his Suspenders life jacket into the live well while trying to catch a flopping fish, and as he removed the life jacket, it inflated in his hands.  Will have to be at the next meeting to get the details.  I am sure there is an award for this.

After a fun filled day at Choke on Saturday, it was tough getting up at 6:00 a.m. and being at Live Oak Lake by 7:00.  But it was sure worth it!  30-40 kids arrived at 7:20 a.m. eager to go fishing.  

Wayne's little man wanted to fish, but didn't like the fish.
